Although the work of ALLEF (UK) is carried out on a voluntary basis, there are the inevitable expenses of telephone calls, postage, printing, travel to liaison and matching meetings with our European counterparts, etc.

In order to cover these, the following fees are in force:

• Registration Fee £50(non-returnable, to accompany application)
• Exchange Fee £560 (payable upon introduction and start of the exchange)

In addition you will pay for your child to travel to Europe and to come home. And during the exchange child's stay in Britain, you will pay for anything he or she needs, just as you would for your own children.
